Importing Codes and Moving to Koda

<p>Are you switching to Koda from another app, or do you want to restore a previous backup?</p> <p>You don't need to waste time scanning QR codes one by one for dozens of accounts. Thanks to Koda's <strong>Bulk Import</strong> feature, you can define all your digital keys to your account in seconds.</p> <h3>Accessing the Import Page</h3> <ol> <li>Log in to your <strong>Koda</strong> account.</li> <li>Click on the profile/menu icon in the top right corner.</li> <li>Click on the <strong>"Import codes"</strong> option from the menu.</li> </ol> <p>You will see a simple panel as shown below:</p> <h3>Method 1: Import by Uploading a File (Easiest)</h3> <p>If you have a backup you previously took from Koda (in <strong>.txt</strong> format) or a plain text file exported from another supported app (e.g., Ente, etc.):</p> <ol> <li>Click the <strong>"Select File"</strong> button.</li> <li>Choose the <strong>.txt</strong> backup file from your device.</li> <li>Koda will automatically scan the file and detect valid links.</li> <li>Complete the process by clicking the blue <strong>"Import"</strong> button at the bottom.</li> </ol> <h3>Method 2: Manual Paste</h3> <p>If you don't have a file but have the <code>otpauth</code> links (for example, if you copied them from a notepad or a secure message):</p> <ol> <li>Click on the large text box under the <strong>"Paste Otpauth URIs"</strong> heading.</li> <li>Paste your links one after another. (See the example format)</li> <li>Click the <strong>"Import"</strong> button.</li> </ol> <p><em>Example format:</em></p> <pre><code class="language-text">otpauth://totp/Google:[email protected]?secret=JBSWY3DPEHPK3PXP... otpauth://totp/Github:user?secret=N2J4K5... </code></pre> <h3>All Done!</h3> <p>After clicking the "Import" button, the system will successfully parse all valid codes and add them to your account. You can now return to your home page and see all your codes working live with the <strong>Refreshes in 17s</strong> animation.</p>
