While scrolling through your Glynet feed, you may notice that some posts are blurred and display a red warning shield. Don't worry, this is a viewing preference activated by the system for you.

Why Does This Warning Appear?

NSFW (Not Safe For Work) refers to sensitive content that may not be suitable for viewing in a workplace or public spaces like public transport.

If you see this warning, it means the person sharing the post has flagged it as NSFW, believing the content might be sensitive. By default, Glynet warns you and blurs the content instead of showing it directly.

How Can I Change This Setting?

You might not want to see sensitive content at all, or you might not want to deal with unblurring the image every time. Glynet gives you full control over this.

To change your appearance preferences, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Settings icon in the left menu.
  2. Go to the Appearance tab.
  3. Find the NSFW section.

Here, you will see 3 different options:

  • 🚫 Never show: Posts marked as sensitive will never appear in your feed. Offers a completely filtered experience.
  • 👁️ Show blurred (Default): Posts appear in your feed, but the content is blurred. You need to click on the post to reveal the content.
  • ⚡ Show directly: All posts are displayed uncensored and directly, even if they are marked as sensitive.
